Media Licensing
Proper licensing of media assets is critical for maintaining legal compliance and respecting intellectual property rights. This section governs the attribution and usage permissions for images and audio content within the application. Select licenses carefully based on the content’s origin, intended use, and distribution requirements. Always confirm you possess adequate rights before applying any license designation.
Text-based content licensing
The Dashboard allows users to set licensing information for audio and image media assets. However, these licenses do not apply to text-based content. Redistribution of textual information must be addressed separately through individual agreements between radio hosts and the radio station.

License Type
Specify the intellectual property license governing media usage and redistribution. Available options include:
All Rights Reserved
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND)
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA)
For detailed explanations of Creative Commons license components and obligations, consult the official Creative Commons documentation.
Obtain Permission from Rights Holder
Certain licenses require explicit authorization from the copyright holder regardless of license selection. You must:
Obtain written permission from the content creator(s).
Maintain verifiable proof of authorization.
Check the confirmation box only when documentary evidence exists.
After completing these steps, enter the rights holder’s name in the Author field.
