# Manage recurrence rules

**Repetition or recurrence rules** form the basis for generating a show’s schedule. Each rule defines the _repetition pattern_ on which a schedule operates.

Supported recurrence rules:

- Once
- Daily
- Weekly
- Business-days
- Weekends
- Every two weeks
- Every four weeks
- Monthly in the first week
- Monthly in the second week
- Monthly in the third week
- Monthly in the fourth week
- Monthly in the fifth week
- Monthly in the last week
- Every two months during the first week
- Every two months during the second week
- Every two months during the third week
- Every two months during the fourth week
- Every two months during the fifth week
